Susan graduated from Longwood University in 1995 Summa Cum Laude, Valedictorian, with a BS in Psychology.  In May of 2014, she became an LPC, Licensed Professional Counselor, with National Board-Certified Counselor credential, NCC.  She has served in leadership positions in the Virginia Counselors Association.
She has extensive experience with all ages having served as an elementary school counselor and as a counselor at Liberty University.  She has also been an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at John Tyler Community College.  
While at Liberty she developed a substance abuse program, “Reflect and Connect.”
Susan is also a Certified Integrateive Mental Health Professional.  This certification allows her to integrate nutrition and other holistic treatments in her therapy.

Gretchen achieved her certification as a Certified Professional Life Coach in 2020.  Life Coaching is an alternative to intensive therapy and helps during those twists and turns of decision making and setting direction when faced with momentary life decisions or circumstances. Whether it’s a major life decision such as career transitions or new relationships, or minor hiccups such as conflict resolution, Life Coaching offers proven strategies to guide you to your best outcome.
Gretchen uses creative approaches through writing and journaling, visualization, and personality coaching to help you achieve your most favorable outcomes.
